Names contained are Officers on Duty, Nurses Roster, Dietitians, Red Cross Workers, Men in Detachment Medical Department, Mess Personnel on Duty: Mess Officers, General Mess No. 1, Patients Mess No. 2, Isolation Mess No.3, Detachment Mess No. 4, Nurses' Mess No. 5 & Patients Mess No. 6. Personnel of Mess Office, Ration Warehouse & Butcher Shop. Also included in these unit rosters are names of civilians.

Headquarters Detachment, 1851st, 8th Service Command Christmas Dinner Booklet, December 25, 1942. Booklet contains hundreds of names from the Headquarters Detachment, Camp Barkeley, Texas. Names include Officers, Master Sgts, Technical Sgts, Staff Sgts, Technician Third Grade, Sgts, Technicians 4th Grades, Corporals, Technicians 5th Class, Privates First Class and Privates. Also includes Detachment Finance Department, Detachment 7th Signal Service Company, Engineer Detachment Headquarters Detachment 8th Service Company and Detachment C.W.S.
